The Federal Government says primary and secondary schools in the country will soon start teaching Mathematics and Science subjects in indigenous languages.

THE Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) yesterday threw its
weight behind the Lagos State government’s decision to sack its
Chaplain, Ven. Femi Taiwo.
The government has the power to hire and fire any chaplain appointed to manage its chapel, Lagos chapter CAN Chairman Apostle Alexander Bamgbola, told reporters.
He addressed a news conference to clarify the position of the body on the controversy which trailed the sack of the clergyman.
Bamgbola decried the twisting of the events that led to the decision to separate Ven. Taiwo as chaplain of Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa, the state government’s Christian worship centre.

Major Southeast cities were grounded yesterday — no thanks to a
sit-at-home order by two pro-Biafra groups to commemorate the
50th anniversary of the declaration of the stillborn republic.
Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and a faction of the Movement for Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) declared May 30 “for sit-at-home”.
They also said they wanted to remember those who died in the 30-month Nigerian civil war, which ended in January 1970.
Markets, schools, government and private offices were shut in Awka, Onitsha, Aba, Umuahia and Enugu. The action was partially successful in Abakaliki, Bayelsa and parts of Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
MASSOB factional leader and Biafra Independence Movement (BIM) boss Ralph Uwazuruike, said the two groups under him were not part of the call.

22-Year Old Female Accounting Student Paraded In Edo For FRAUD [Photos]

Police report shows Tiger Woods was found asleep at the wheel when he was arrested for DUI
New Police report shows that Tiger Woods was found asleep at the
wheel on the morning of his arrest on suspicion of driving under the
influence.
According to the arrest report released today, Woods was stopped by Florida police early on Monday
by the side of the road, with his 2015 Mercedes-Benz running, its brake
lights illuminated and right turn signal flashing. He was by himself
and wearing his seat belt.
The report said that Woods had to be awakened and that his speech was slurred.
